The Journey So Far

Here we go, to start a new beginning it is important to not leave the story unturned. I will start with the history of who I am and what the life has left for me in the past. Because it is important to feel connected to the person you are reading about. Life has been quite a gift, never knowing what the next day is gonna be about. Surprises and excitement always drives my passion and my friends and family are the ones I live for.

Let me tell you what I am currently doing. Studying BMS from Mumbai University. I know you might be wondering, what is the need to study while you are already on your entrepreneurial path but let me tell you my friend. The path is never ending and being prepared is the first step.

I launched my first official business when I was 16 years old, but my journey started since the day I was born. Each of us has an entrepreneurial mindset within us, you just need to observe and work towards developing it. When I was 10 years old, my father always used to take me to his factory and we should spend time together working on machines and all this metal stuff. I never knew how to do any of it, but one thing I always remembered is that he used to take me everywhere in meetings with the clients or partners. That taught me a lot about how to deal and talk to business professionals. I never understood that until today and you can relate to this too. Just close your eyes and remember your past. It holds the key to build your future.

Not so long ago, around 4 years. when I started my first business named Eprobe (Now Plorez), it was more about experimenting stuff that you are excited about. I got into the IT industry with so much enthusiasm and the passion to learn about everything I can find on the Internet. I have never been formally educated in the IT sector but it holds key to my path because its my passion. As they say

“Formal education can make you a living, but self education can make you a fortune”

I was lucky to be the one who have explored his path even before I knew that the word entrepreneur even existed in the dictionary. Apparently that business didn’t do that well until a year later. It all took a boost when I took my first big project with a event management company. Everything has been pretty well till now and I am lucky to have made that decision to walk on my own journey.

It is said that you don’t walk the path alone, your friends and partners play the most important role in nurturing and developing your skills with you. It is great to build business with partner but it is even more awesome to live through the good and bad days of business failures and success. I was lucky to have a partner and a best friend from the past 5 years with me who have lived every single moment with me. Avish hakani, currently cofounder of Crazzy Ventures.

More than a year ago, I met a young entrepreneur on the web. A person so passionate about helping students and promoting youth that on the first day of our meeting. We had a great plan of business and launching an organization which is today known as “Global Youth Forum” which organizes events and builds a community of young students. Along with a team of 10 young students we have organized lots of event across mumbai and are glad to have build that family.

“Doesn’t matter what time it is, get up, dress up, show up and never give up”

I try to live by this quote every single day but you always tend to find people that no matter how far they are but you always feel that connection and passion with the same level of enthusiasm. That’s what I felt when I met my friend Shivam Mishra. We got in touch via facebook and after 3 months of consistent planning and developing along with Nishant Sharma and Avish. We decided to launch something that will guide our future for the next 10 years. Something so big that we all had to build a whole army of entrepreneurs and students who are working together to achieve a dream. We founded Crazzy ventures on 28th July, 2014 (which was apparently on my birthday).

After 3 months of our successful launch, we are still strong and are headed towards building indias largest ecosystem of startups and entrepreneurs and with a great team of entrepreneurs. I am all set to walk on this journey.

This is all that’s been happening in my life till now and I am so much more excited to walk on this path and explore things I have never thought possible. I will soon share my journey on how I started speaking journey  (while being probably the most stage freighting person on earth) and many more such things soon.

Many more stones are left unturned in this story. You will uncover them as we go along.

See you soon, peace.
